Wow how nice... someone has defaced/hacked my /forum (phpBB). Stupid Turkish "Kid-Hackers". Get a life, anyone can deface and old version of phpBB, but why the hell should we?? Hacking small private and inaktive forum is really a sign of stupidity. Oh shit, I've posted in english allthough i said i wouldn't do it again. Who gives a fuck.. Turkish newbies go fuck a goat.

If you on the other hand still want to use your old VipDonkey you should add the following servers to the mIRC server list.

Liquidirc.com has closed to the public.
This affects ALL previous versions of VipDonkey.
Therefore it's HIGHLY recommended that you download VipDonkey v.5.2 since it has been configured to our new temporary network ZooMirc.
If you on the other hand still want to use your old VipDonkey you should add the following servers to the mIRC server list.

The Psychology of IRC

IRC is part of our everyday life. It has developed into a permanent entry onto our schedule. We are addicted to IRC and like it this way. However, what makes people want to IRC? How would we explain such a spread and yet ambiguous way of chatting, which is, at the end of the day, just a virtual communion? Has IRC developed into a trend?
IRC was implemented as a valid Internet Protocol back in the '80s in the University of Oulu, Finland, and has served different purposes, being nowadays the most used Protocol to serve the purpose of real-time Internet-based communication. It became popular during the Gulf War in 1992, when news on the war got spread through IRC. Back then, people were meeting in huge lounges to hear the news. At that time, it was just a way of receiving information. One of the Mass-Media tools, one would regard it as back then. However, nearly 12 years later, we face such a spread phenomenon mankind never faced itself with. IRC is nowadays used to link worldwide communities, to interact, to maintain relationships. More and more users join IRC every month starting out of curiosity and then become addicted to communication. Some of them do it just because it's trendy, just because everyone does it. It is obviously a mass phenomenon, something the developer, Jarkko Oikarinen, never thought of, I believe.
How is psychology linked to IRC, you might wonder? Why did I choose such a title which apparently has nothing to do with IRC? In my 7 years of IRC experience, I've witnessed the development of IRC in relation to the human mind. Or better said, the development of the human mind in relation to IRC. A thing I discovered is that the virtual identity, on which IRC is based, has nothing to do with the real self. On IRC, we have the opportunity of choosing our identity. Today we are someone, the next day we are a completely new person, with a new personality and a new pattern. We actually have the chance of building ourselves. This virtual identity is a projection of the one we ought to be, the one we would like to seem to be in real life. Some of us confound the IRC identity with self, and in worse cases, they become their virtual identity, hence completely forgetting who they really are. Think of it as a picture you claim to be yours while it's not. That picture reflects the identity of the one who you want to be. Do we mirror our virtual identity in our lives?
On a poll I recently ran on the Undernet Forums (http://www.undernet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1030) you can find a series of affirmations coming from various folks who simply debated the issue. While the majority agreed that the virtual identity is merely an image of the one we ought to be, they refused to consider IRC to be a trend, rather putting its popularity on the fact that the human race is a social being, hence in need of communication. Someone stated that 'If it would not be IRC, it would be MSN or YMS, or even the phone.'
How is this Fantasia linked to our every day life? What can we do about it? Is our chat partner who he really claims to be? How well do we know the other? These questions suddenly arise, when you come to think about it. It's simply the way things work. We live in such a virtual community where everything is possible. It is influenced by the way things work in real life, yet real life should not be influenced by it. The IRC Community is just a peculiar mirror of real life. We live it the way we would like to live our real life, still we don't.
What is next? Would our virtual identity collide with our real identity? How can we protect ourselves? You can summarise it in a few words: this is just IRC. Don't take it too personally, for you might get broken hearted. Don't take it too impersonally, for you might not enjoy it. Find the middle of the issue and make sure it's both enjoyable and satisfactory, whilst it won't have you broken hearted. We are indeed social beings, but that sociality means more than just communicating. It is first of all the way we show ourselves, the way we communicate with the inner self.
I do hope by reading this, you have realized a few things. I also hope Undernet will become a better place.

mIRC v6.12 has been released to address a remote vulnerability found yesterday, capable of crashing your mIRC. The vulnerability affects versions of mIRC from v6.0 onwards, so it is highly recommended that you upgrade to mIRC v6.12. You can do so by downloading the new mIRC from the download page!

VIPez.dk has been Hacked
(Again!)Nu er det anden gang indefor 6 måneder at vipez.dk har været udsat for 2 forskellige hacker angreb. Det først kostede forummet livet da han havde slettet diverse forums og users. Hvilket gjorde at jeg blev nød til at opsætte et helt nyt forum.
Denne gang drejer det sig som såden set, kun om en defacement, men stadig pisse irriterende! Det er sket mellem 22:00 og 23:30 igår efter min beregning.
Men pyt det var jo kun en defacement.. selvom jeg ikke forstår hans billed + tekst da jeg intet pirat software har eller tilbyder. Det eneste jeg "tilbyder" mit eget mIRC script og så guides til eDonkey2000 og eMule.
Men det er måske disse to programmer han mener som jeg support og dermed support jeg også støttelsen i download af pirat software. Hvem ved ?
MEN det gør jeg altså ikke. Jeg gider sku ikke bruge de programmer selv, lidt for sløve.. nææ skal jeg bruge noget sende folk det til mig! >;)

For ca. et halvt år siden var der en masse ballade, da APG valgte at sende regninger ud til omkring 150 danskere brugere af fildelingstjenester.
Der var stor debat her på forummet og mange kritiserede APG metoder. Ligeledes snakkede mange om at nægte at betale og evt. hyre en advokat til sagen. Andre igen, snakkede om bare at betale og få sagen ud af verden.
Jeg er journalist og vil gerne skrive en opfølgende artikel, der udredende
1) giver et indblik i sagen
2) Ser på hvad der er sket siden hen? og
3) Kigger på APGs metoder, mm.
Derfor kunne jeg godt tænke mig at høre fra ALLE der var direkte involveret og vil skrive til mig - hvor mange betalte? Hvor mange betalte ikke - og hvad skete der så?
Sidder du på anden måde inde med stor viden om sagen, eller har du tidligere været ansat i/ bekendt med APG's fremgangsmåde og organisation, vil jeg også meget gerne høre fra dig.
Til at starte med lover jeg anonymitet til alle der svarer, så kan vi altid senere finde ud af om du i skal være med i artiklen. Jeg er bare ude efter viden/ data.

Due to a major security break (by my-self) the VipDonkey v4.9 has temporarely been withdrawn.
Besides all these problems its good to see that the vipez.dk/forum is running great, and there is alot of activites there..
And last but not least.. I've created a preset danish emule package that all users can download from vipez.dk or via emule/edonkey. Read more/download here
vipez.dynu.com is back up, so is the hosted websites. The IRC stats will soon follow after i've made some minor adjustments... ;)
We've now started to integrate the forum much more with our irc channel. So keep visiting our forum, alot of stuff is going on there. (More releases, new moderator, created a new section "Reviews, Hint & Tips" that will be moderated by Katana, and updated by Katana and DvD.

Mandag d. 16. september 2002, kl. ca. 19:30 bankede 3 af de høje på døren; en dommer/foged og alt på en gang, en såkaldt uvildig "computer-ekspert", og en fra APG (Anti Pirat Gruppen), de ville ind og se eDonkey server og indhold på computer osv.
Efter lang tids snakken frem og tilbage, trusler og meget andet, endte det med at de beslaglagde computeren og en håndfuld legale CD kopier. De stak næsen i skuffer, hen over skrivebordet og havde tilmed den frækhed at forhindre adgang til egne lokaler og ting mens de var der, og for at det ikke skal være løgn, satte den såkaldte "computer-ekspert" sig til at glo hvad der foregik på IRC så han kunne se hvem der blev snakket med. Han havde meget mere travlt med hvad der måtte ligge rundt omkring, som han kunne stikke sin stinkende næse i, end det han egentligt var med for at kigge på, nemlig eDonkey serveren.
LAD DET VÆRE SAGT MED DET SAMME: AGP JAGTER EDONKEY SERVERE !
Der blev sagt at mIRC også var ulovligt at have installeret fordi det er et peer 2 peer program, men spaden forstod intet af hvad der blev sagt, da han blev informeret om at portene til den form for kommunikation slet ikke engang stod åbne i routeren - derfor en såkaldt "computer-ekspert" - eller rettere total amatør!
En lille håndfuld magtsyge myndighedsfolk, der endelig fandt en der var mindre at slå på, kan ikke engang klare at man sparker lidt fra sig, uden straks at true med alskens ulykker og meget andet. Helt klart og tydeligt at myndighedsfolk tror de kan tillade sig alt. Stil altid spørgsmålstegn ved myndigheder ! Under samtalen med de hersens myndighedsfolk, fremgik det tydeligt hvor lidt de egentligt var klar over omkring deres egen lovgivning.
I løbet af dagen (17. september) tages kontakt til advokat om hændelsen og hvordan situationen ser ud.
Kendelsen der blev udleveret, men som der ikke blev givet tid til at læse, bliver scannet og offentliggjort her på Siffan's Place. Der blev oplyst at man havde ret til en advokat, men det kunne dommeren ikke vente på - det var der ikke tid til ! og sådan var det bare.
Sagens videre forløb vil blive offentliggjort her på Siffan's Place såsnart der er nyt at fortælle, og indtil videre er Futte sat på at moderere forumet og holde Siffan's Place up-to-date med hvad der sker. Har I spørgsmål, kan I som regel finde Futte på nedenstående IRC kanal (linket i toppen virker, hvis du har installeret f.eks. mIRC der kan hentes som shareware på www.mirc.com. Så venter vi bare på at APG kommer og siger at det må vi heller ikke, for det er også "deep-linking" - langt ude)

Jeg har, med stor hjælp fra Futte, oprettet en irc kanal hvor vi kan mødes og snakke i "real time". Det har jeg gjort fordi mange af indlæggene i forum tit bliver lidt "off topic" og mere chat agtige. Ikke at det gør noget, men der er jo ikke noget i vejen for at ha' nogle flere muligheder for at få hjælp eller bare få sig en chat. Du finder kanalen her:

En lille sjov debat fra www.comon.dk om nyheden lige da den kom, læs fra starten - (...gennemsnits ADSL brugeren har 265 up og 512 ned. det er 20.000 film gange ca. 3 timer det tar for at uploade. Det er 60.000 timer. Det delt med 24 timer i et døgn igen delt med 365 dage for et år. Giver os ca. den tid det vil ha taget at uploade dem. = 6.84 År....)
Serveren var TAURUS, den største, bedste og mest stabile danske edonkey server (vi ved nu hvorfor...)
Vi i #ed2k-danish havde en fornemmelse af at det var taurus og ved hjælp fra ripe.net slog vi lige Taurus IP op..
Nu må vi (edonkey brugere) så bare håbe på at nogle flere vil starte nogle edonkey servere så vi kan opveje tabet af Taurus...

I've also updated the website's eDonkey2000 section. Now it looks much better and I've also ajusted the navigation part, so it's much more user friendly.

This is the latest version of my edonkey2000 irc script, it's mainly made for and to the users of #ed2k-Danish on asylumnet.org
As new stuff i can mention Control menu's for the two bots operating in #ed2k-danish (X and Q). Just right click in the channel and let the menu talk for you. Since I've updated the VipDonkey with mIRC 5.91 It's also now possible to hear you mp3's via mIRC's local mp3player. Once again right click in the channel and select 'Play Mp3'.
The two BOT menu's can also be download individualy, look under download.

FUTURE PLANS: REMAKE WHOLE WEBSITE. I've skipped the DALnet network and have joined the asylumnet.org. There I've made a channel for all the Danish users of the wonderfull program eDonkey2000. check the website at www.edonkey2000.com or the danish website at www.edonkey2000.dk
I've made a small irc script for edonkey users, so they can chat via an irc client instead of using a web chat or the build in chat in eD. Please look under downloads and try out the VIP-Donkey Thank You.
FUTURE PLANS: The VIP2000 is working fine and I've added a control menu for V|R (my bot). but I do plan on making some more functions and maybe delete some of the Entertainments and put them as add-ons.
As already said I left Dalnet web page service, and as time came I was also getting really tired of the layout of this website. SO I'm planing to remake the whole website and also give some links to other websites that I've made. I will now have more then just IRC stuff, allthough I will not remove this section, but with my new domain I also got more webspace So why not use some of it :)

During Install of vip.exe Autodalnet.mrc has a backdoor/dark virus. THIS IS WRONG! This is McAfee that has gone crazy. Norton couldn't find anything. And If you dont TRUST ME!
